About
A singer's voice, a clinician's eye.
Myo For Singers was founded on a simple idea: the singers who help other singers most are the ones who have actually lived inside the instrument — and the clinicians who understand it most are the ones trained in airway and orofacial structure.

Jessica Luffey
Founder · COM® · MM Vocal Performance
Jessica is a professional operatic soprano and a Certified Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Georgia State University and has trained directly under Drs. Zaghi, Baxter, Gelb, Mew, Coulson, and Valcu-Pinkerton.
A Special Invitee under Dr. Baxter in 2021 and a featured contributor on tonguetieal.com, Jessica works at the rare intersection of conservatory-level vocal pedagogy and clinical airway-focused myofunctional therapy.
She is both a trained singer and a certified structural specialist — not one or the other. That dual expertise is what makes the work different.
Julia Mihalich, MA
Vocologist · Myofunctional Specialist · Research
Julia holds an MA in Vocal Pedagogy from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and a Vocology certificate from NYU. She has completed AOMT training and pre-SLP coursework at Northwestern.
As research assistant, Julia supports the practice's ongoing case studies on myofunctional therapy and frenectomy outcomes in singers.
Philosophy
No voodoo — just science.
This practice is built on airway-focused myofunctional therapy, not generic voice teaching, not face yoga, not vibes. It is structural rehabilitation for the muscles that produce your voice. Evidence first, always.
